Marianna Elias is a second-generation makeup artist whose interest in her craft was ignited by her admiration of her uncle's career, a successful painter and makeup artist in Greece. Elias' uncle taught her how to paint on canvas as well as do makeup at a very young age. Inspired by her mentor, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her passion in the beauty industry.
Elias' passion and dedication for makeup has been a clear driver in her career. She has over 60 major credits in film and television including award-winning medical drama House M.D. , the 2009 film Star Trek, The House Bunny staring Anna Faris and the Golden Globe Award winning drama Homeland. The extensive list of celebrities she has worked on includes Hugh Laurie, Olivia Wilde, Candice Bergen, Lily Tomlin, James Earl Jones and rockstar Slash, among others.
